Nice write, excellent vocal. The added harmony is really nice.
Despite the subject matter, this sounds pretty "uplifiting" to me.
The mix feels off - lots of highs, not many mids and lows. The vocal feels like a bit lost under the strings. And the strings need to come down in volume- they sound good, they're just overwhelming instead of supporting.
