Hello! I want to be able to capture/play my BIAB song, and control the volume independently in my mix, when I am recording live through OBS. I am using OBS to capture my video streaming and live audio. I am using Windows 10. I have my mics run through an external mixer that interfaces with my computer through my Focusrite audio interface. I can not get BIAB to come into OBS as an independent input. I have tried setting up a Desktop Audio channel in OBS and have tried setting it on my computer audio and to the Focusrite to no avail. I have gone into the options in BIAB to see if there is a particular configuration there but still no sound. I do hear BIAB just fine through my speaker system connected to the Focusrite. I just can't get it to register audio to record it with my mix of me playing live through OBS. I have tried to go from a headphone 3.5 to 1/4" connector into a channel on my mixer and can't get sound that way either. In Windows Control panel, I have Focusrite set as the default playback and recording device. Any ideas?

Perhaps try using a virtual sound driver of some sort. VB Audio makes a "Virtual Audio Cable" that works well for me in BIAB - I was able to route the audio from the standalone BIAB app into Reaper, so that should work with OBS as well.
Other BIAB users have mentioned Voicemeeter for this kind of purpose as well, but I personally didn't like it as I didn't need the extra features.

So does that override my Focusrite as the default device...which I think is coordinating the audio from my mixer etc. and my DAW? Thanks for your thoughts :-)

Yes, that would override the Focusrite. Maybe the Voicemeeter app would be better instead, it gives you a software mixer so you can mix BIAB and everything else together. It seems to be recommended by other BIAB users for this kind of thing.
