In early December you said it might be 2 weeks before you released the rest of the RealTracks Holds.
I was wondering when we might expect the release of those Holds.
Most of the bluegrass instrument RealTracks, as well as others, still do not hold.
Thanks for any information and thanks for everything you're doing to improve BIAB.

Hello John, The majority of Rhythm and Background RealTracks instruments support shots and holds, but you need to have the latest Band-in-a-Box update installed... http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htm#295Soloist RealTracks don't all support shots/holds, because you normally wouldn't want a soloist to do that. Also, the Resonator guitar and B3 organ don't currently support holds, and a couple other miscellaneous ones - hopefully we'll be able to add those. What's an example of one that doesn't work for you? Perhaps you are missing some files...

Yes, the holds are there for about 80% of realtracks.
This is all instruments, except:
Organ (B3)
Harmonica
Resophonic Guitar
Mandolin
Metal Guitar
Slide Guitar
Soloists (Trombone , Sax)
Note that holds/shots are generally played by the "rhythm section", so we arent planning them for soloing instruments. (ie the alto sax soloist won't switch to playing roots every time a shot/hold comes along).
But we do still need to add them for mandolin, banjo, metal guitar, resophonic guitar, and B3 organ

John, correction (too late to edit). The date of the latest Real Tracks is December 22.

Yes, I have all the current updates of RealTracks and the latest version of BIAB.
Thanks for the information.
As I said in the original post, most of the bluegrass instruments, as well as a few others, do not currently hold.

mandolin, banjo, metal guitar, resophonic guitar, and B3 organ.
I use most of those instruments quite often and it would help me, and probably many others, enjoy the full potential of BIAB
Do you have any idea when we might have those instrument available for holds?
