Exactly.
The endings and DS are bar dependent, so if you add or delete a bar, you need to adjust the endings. This is done through the same dialog as you used to create it. You'll see a button at the bottom < Edit List >. This will take you to the list of repeats etc (you can have more than one set of repeats). Select the one you want and click <edit>. Make the change and click <make repeat>. Then <close>
Remember this process is non-destructive to your original song, so you can make as many changes as necessary. If you change the underlying song I usually find it is often easier the delete list entries and start again.
Watch out for the check box that says <Generate (insert) new bars. Most of the time this should be UNCHECKED
