Hi fellow musicians,
I am an accordion player that loves to play along with tunes. Therefore I am a fan (and hater) of Biab.
One of my things I cherish is playing along with songs while reading the sheet music (the notes) for the track where ever I find the notes. Especially when importing midi files I look and look where I find notes to read from.
I dream of a feature, that allows for once to see immediately where the tracks have notes and an easy way (with on click or keyboard shortcut) to open the specific track. Possibly this could be some feature in the mixer, as we here see all tracks in principle.
What do you think? Or is there already an easy way to have achieve this and I did not come accross it yet?!
For me it´s all about to get in minimal time in a position to play along my favorite track/instrument.
What about you guys and gals?

Hi Museeker, there is the Notation window and the Leadsheet window where you can read the notes. They are limited in the number of bars that are on screen at once. When you import a MIDI file, just play the file and look at the mixer for a bit to see the visual activity that corresponds with the melody. Make that track the one you view in the Leadsheet Mode.

Hello Chantelle,
probing the mixer, I found out, that it basically already does what I wanted.
When I have the notation window open ( the integrated single line depiction) and click on a mixer track, it changes the notation window to this track.
And thanks for the tipp Matt.
But clicking through the tracks looking to the notation line will show me where the melody line is as well.
Resolved....
