Museeker,

I use a Yamaha Genos with BIAB.
You can use your Tyros as a sound expander for BIAB because Tyros sounds are far better than the Ketron SD2 or the TTS-1...On Tyros, you have for example SUperArticulation you can't get with RT.
But I don't recommend to record the melody in BIAB, because BIAB can't handle the SysEx, it allows jut one SysEx which can be launched when BIAB starts. If so, you wouldn't get the SysEx's for the DSP settings, the EQ settings, etc.
I've been requesting more than 15 years ago to get this feature, in vain and it's so incomprehensible for a pro software as BIAB. But Realband does it.
So my recommendation should be to record the song inside the Tyros.

Another thing you can do, is to build some backing tracks that you will use in Tyros as an audio Multipad. For example record the Piano RT and the guitar RT and make an audio multipad that you will start in synchronisation in a registration in your Tyros.

They are some ideas that I have also to experiment because I'm a newbee in hardawre arrangers. I think H/W arrangers are more flexible and now I spent much more time on my Genos than with BIAB. But the world of the H/W arrangers and the world of BIAB are complementary.

Another approach is to work with your DAW Presonus Studio One Pro : render a melody track from the Tyros as a *.wav file to be used with the RT/RD of BIAB. Here make all you production settings...But I consier it is more efficency to do the final mix in the Genos, because ALL the settings are saved in one registration file, including the output EQ settings and the type of compressor for example.
