To send a private message (PM), find a post by the person you want to send a message to, and click on the name of the person posting (top left of their message). Their user name is a link. You will see Send a PM as a choice.

I've used several Scarletts including a 2i4, and I still have my old Rode NT1 mic. The problem you have isn't with those. Zoom mangles live music just terribly. It is much better if you record your music, then play back the file on Zoom. The trick is to select Turn on Original Sound in the Zoom audio settings of a computer with a decent sound card, then remember to do that as the host when you want to transmit music.
