Dear 'HappyRon'...

In my opinion, there is so much 'emotional confidence' in your voice when you sing 'More Than I Was' that I could believe that you are celebrating anyone in your life -- not just a partner -- who touched you in some way, connected to you, and became a part of your everyday life. I guess what I mean is that the lyrics could be universal in their impact on listeners, which makes the song feel warmer, more inclusive, and powerful, than if they were only describing your feelings for one person...which is just as fine a thing to do! Anyone could could imagine you were singing only for them. That's how gentle and welcoming your performance sounds, to me, at least.

I was happy to read that you have achieved a breakthrough in the maintenance of your disability. Obviously, the relief you feel has unleashed your musical creativity in a way that appears to come straight from your heart. Thank you for sharing that with us!
