Yes, try MME for BIAB.
If you still want to use ASIO, there is a checkbox that says something like Allow BIAB to have exclusive use. I'll see if I can find that.
EDIT: In the ASIO Audio Driver window, the checkbox says ASIO always on. Try unchecking that if it's checked.
