Meantime, if you want the drum countin and a mute of the drums at bar 1.
you can achieve the same effect by typin the chords in bar 1 with a rest, followed by the instruments that you don’t want to rest.

For example, if the chords in bar 1 are C and Fm, and the pedal steel part Is on the 5th track (strings track) , you would type

C.s Fm.s

The “.” makes it rest everything, and the “s” points to track 5 which is usually called the strings track. The possibilities are b,d,p,g,s for bass, drums, piano, guitar and strings. If you can’t remember those letters, you can right click on chord options, and do it with mouse clicking,

That method gives better musical results, since you’re not chopping off the sound at the bar line, BiaB is told to musically rest in those bars, which means no pickup notes etc. so you get better phrases as a result.

And of course you get your drum lead in.
