I was referring to RØDE mics in perfectly good working order that are well known for being sibilant.Not duds, not defects, not unhappy customers.

And to be clear, I have had a RØDE dud (one of my NT3s) and it was replaced under their 10 year warranty (back when you had to ship them to Australia) and I still have it and it's great. Their customer service is excellent.
