Hey Jim, Happy birthday!!!! This song has a brilliant feel about it. I really like the piano accompaniment. It reminded me of Paul McCartney in places. As the song progressed, It seemed to me that your voice became increasingly confident. You've got a good voice and it's really suited to this style of music. At times, the arrangement sounded a little busy to my ears and this sometimes made it difficult for me to understand lyrics. Have you tried simplifying the mix just a tad and seeing how it works? (By the way, I must point out that I'm probably the last person around who should be commenting on mixing because I find mixing incredibly difficult.) Overall, though, this song is very well put together on so many levels. It's definitely a work to be proud of  Keep up the terrific work! All the best, Noel P.S. Hope you have a spectacular birthday.
