Charlie, water rushed in, the power went out and we bailed ankle deep water in my "studio" room with tupperware plastic glasses and a bucket for four hours, threw every blanket and comforter that wasn't on a bed next to the doors. I grabbed the computer and BIAB and moved everything we could to another room higher up. Soon as power came back on we turned on the box fan and ceiling fan. It's taken a few days to clean all the mess up. We were sore as a freshmen's first week of gym class for days. grin

We're so thankful though, there are so many people including us whose homes still aren't fixed from the hurricanes because there aren't enough workers. Some people had just moved back in their houses and got water two feet deep or more. In all our years here that's the first time our house flooded and thank God it was only ankle deep in two rooms. We had over 15 inches of rain in a few hours. It was bizarre. People here are just wore out from all these weather emergencies.
Thank you for asking and caring. It means a lot.

I actually thought of writing a new song called "Hello From Hellhole". I've been pretty bummed from it all and my condenser mic died. Just quit. Dead as doornail. It didn't get wet maybe the humidity got it who knows. Ah well, I will survive.
