Good song sung well. Great work all the way around. Thanks, Tunemonger! Excellent choice of the cello, Ezekiel. That and the emotion in your vocal really tell the story the lyrics suggest. "Scattered fragments of love slowly disappear." Sadness is never so deep as when it can't be fixed. Marty, Thanks. I appreciate the comment about expressing the emotion vocally! Scott

To present an oft told sad scenario in such a fresh and richly imaged write is no small
feat ... Well done! Most impressive.
And the emotive vocals, excellent band and fine mix nailed the feel. Sad but very engaging.

Hi Ezekiel,
Always nice to hear a song from you, although the message in your lyrics isn't always a happy one.
But I like this kind of 'tragedy' songs.
It's a genuine 'Ezekiel song'. You don't use much instruments. I think that contributes to the sphere of your song: Modest and impressive at the same time.

The backing tracks and mix are spot on.
