I seen earlier discussion....
Kontakt is a great tool, but go with Komplete, if funds allow.



Three paths that were not mentioned.

1) You can buy a Komplete Select (that does not include Kontakt) for about 200 and upgrade to standard, at 1/2 price, which would have Kontakt.

2) most of their midi controllers keyboards, even used(!!) come with fully transferable Komplete Select (You own controller = you own Select) Also, I was told by NI tech that... if you sell, break or whatever do with controller, you get to keep software, IF you upgraded select to standard!

3) You can buy Komplete pre-owned at places like KVR (got to do research on seller, if they are established and have record of selling items) Transfer process is nearly instant.
