It is all according to what version of BIAB you are using as 40Gb is rather small and will not hold BIAB 10 and all the RealTrack etc size we now have - using only Midi is much much smaller

Having BIAB on an external drive takes the load off the computer allowing it to operate faster

You have to register on your main drive the items that must be there - but one way would be to install the whole lot on the main drive and then move the bb folder to your external hard drive making sure that the program points to the main drive
