It is because a single instance of the synth is affected after its output.
If you need different FX you have to use multiple instances, which is easily available.

FWIW, sometimes its easier to render the individual MIDI tracks to audio tracks and then use FX.
For some synths, WAVs are less resource intensive than another synth instance.
