Hi,

To do this, the easiest way is to use Bar Settings.

Let's say you've set BIAB up so that you have a 32 bar song and you want the solo to play from bar 8 to 23. I'm assuming that you have put the solo on the Soloist track.

1. click on bar 1, press F5 (or right-click and select Bar Settings) and set the Soloist to "Mute"

2. now click on bar 8, press F5 and set the Soloist to "Back to Normal"

3. click on bar 24, press F5 and set the Soloist to "Mute"

4. generate the song for the changes to take effect

The Soloist will now only play from the beginning of bar 8 to the end of bar 23.
