Well I'm looking for alternatives to Florida. I'm very familiar with Florida . I lived there for quite a few years. I'm a licensed Building Inspector there and also the rest of the Country. I was Chief Elect. Inspector in Indian River County. I'm too well acquainted with hurricanes. And BTW the Codes in Florida require structures be built worst case, except Dade & Broward Counties, to withstand a 140MPH 3 second gust. The last two hurricanes in 2004, Francis & Jeanne, had sustained winds of 135 MPH 12 hours and more. My brand new built to Code, and I watched over it, concrete block house shook. I had to have all the carpets cleaned because of all the brown patches. Not I ever again. No house will withstand a Cat 5.
