All the busy things you had to do as a retiree worked out fine for your head!
You created a very nice melody, with strong vocals.
I enjoyed it very much!
Maybe there is one thing you can consider (but it is a matter of taste); Try using some stronger sounding instruments somewhere in the middle of your song to make an accent. It is a long song (4:55) and might need that change, or you can consider to transpose the song one verse before the ending of the song? But Greg, even without my suggestions, your song is very good. And as I said, I like the vocals!
