Yes, using 504 you just can't create one with the track Action function as described below:

Using one of PG's songs from Applications/Band in a box\songs called "Nitelife"

Ctrl + Click on track in this case named Organ
Track Actions
Save track as performance file (aiff/mp4)
This then mutes all tracks on the mixer then renames the track to “Artist” (Track turns Orange) however is silent as there is No Audio on the track in the Audio View.

However, it also saves the BIAB MGU (without asking) in this state WITHOUT adjusting the file date??


And Yes, I can export any track as aiff or mp4 and "IMPORT" it as an artist track. However, when you used the feature as it is supposed to work (listed above)
the track created by that method is 54bytes an exported file which you can import is a few Mb's

I have repeated this on two of PG's songs and several of my own.
