Thank you, Noel96. I think holding down the delete key while clicking notes may be the fastest method for me. That's a good tip.
Still, I don't think pgmusic should claim that editing (which would include deleting) notes in the notation window conforms to "standard mouse techniques". And I'm still puzzled over how to make one or more notes red so they can be deleted using the context menu item I mentioned. If you put this on the wish list you will get a +1 from me. You also might want to add why the horizontal scroll bar doesn't work.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track.
