Thanks for replies. Unchecking the dxi and then checking again seems to have solved that one.
The setup I have on my computer is I have 2 installs of biab one on a external drive and one on a separate internal drive with no OS on it. I have also windows 7 32 bit and windows xp on my computer, different partitions of course. Got that message on both OS.

I think what I will do is use the internal drive biab for windows 7 and the biab on the external drive for xp. That way making changes to biab settings on one OS shouldn't affect its settings on the other OS.

The other annoying message I always get in win 7 is the one on exit from biab the dialog that says "biab has stopped working" I can't find a way to get rid of that, and it seems from reading past posts that others get it too on win 7.UAC is turned off. Is this message related to the vsc/dxi I wonder?

Just seems to me that biab has still a number of issues with windows 7.

Thanks
Joe
