I scoured the site and read a lot of the FAQ's, but haven't signed up. I'm not sure I'd have the bandwidth, but who knows. This may be a good alternative to sites like fiverr.com. Their musicians seem to be auditioned, selected, and employed rather than being strictly gig workers. Price wise, they may even be pretty competitive with Fiverr, though this is a subscription service rather than a one-off marketplace.

It certainly wouldn't be for everybody, but it seems like it might be a good place to try out. To me, one of the major draws would be the ability to be present at the video session and give instant feedback and instructions, though the same caveats apply as they do at a real studio...preparation is key. This can't be done at Fiverr and (in my limited experience with them) this can affect the quality of what you get there.

Anyway...there it is. If I take the plunge, I'll report. And I hope somebody can see value in it for your own projects and hope you will report as well.
