OP firesong Veteran Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 2,325 Heartland, USA	rayc...thanks for your thoughts...the vocals for this recording are about 20 years old, I pulled them off of a recording with SpctraLayers so a great deal of the reverb can't be gotten rid of (it's residual to the recording) but I went back and killed the new reverb I used and added a DeEsser to the vocals...it does help (though not sure I gave the vocals enough gain to compensate?...o well)...I really appreciate the technical advise I get here ...thanks again...Dan www.soundclick.com/firesong BiaB 2024, Steinberg Cubase Pro 13, Wavelab 11.2, SpetraLayers Pro 10, Audacity, Steinberg UR44 Interface, Yamaha Genos, Roland FP60 and FP10, Windows 10 You are who you are because you do what you do because of what you believe.
