Just a short follow up. As you've learned whenever you use the Return To Factory Settings the program returns to brand new. That means you have to open Preference Settings and set all your settings back to what you want. What a pain! But there are two selections under Options that can ease the pain, Save Preferences As ... and Open Preferences File ...

Save Preferences As ... let you save your custom settings in a file while Open Preferences File ... loads a saved custom setting file.

The key is to save your settings while the program is working just the way you want it to work. Don't wait until the program starts acting up. Once you've saved your custom settings, resetting the program is a snap.
