Great lyric with a bit of "connect your own dots" regarding the relationship.
Wonderful imagery throughout and well carried by your vocal.
Janice says "warm" describes all the aspects!
The two RT's carried the tune well. The lyric and melody offered plenty of variety without the need of additional tracks.

Nicely easy-does-it. A lot of Cat Stevens feeling, to my ears. The lyric is amply mysterious and open, with a lot of contrasting visuals. She's not an easy one to figure out, is she? Very much enjoyed. Tangmo, thanks for the listen and comments!

Hi Ezekiel,
This song has an understated elegance, emphasized by your vocals.
The lyrics are wonderful and your presentation is what I said about your song.
I wondered what made you write these lyrics. I think I don't know a person, like Stefan, so that explains my wondering.
And I was also thinking would it be nice with some other instrument, like strings or a cello? To answer this myself: yes it could, but in the way you brought it, it's not necessary at all.
I enjoyed listening,
Hans Hans, I didn't write this song about a particular person, although I know people who fit bits and pieces of this song. I had come up with the line "I'm the calm before her storm" and wanted to write a song around it, so I ended up creating a character for my song.

I think that 'slim' arragement is fantastic, and you know how much I dig your voice and singing.
Very, very well-done.
And like I as said, 'Can't understand why you're still working in the 'ed-biz' when you could easily make the grade as singer in a Johhny Cash cover band ...

Yea this is a nice simple lay out and performed well, Nice lyrics !!. The guitar has a flanger sort of a sound to it, A honestly think if the guitar was a bit more clearer this would stand out better !!!.
