Very pretty song Mario. I love this kind of music. Soul soothing. I think this was a very good mix. Loved the different instruments you chose. Well done

Hi Mario,

This is a very beautiful track and I think it quite well mixed and produced (although I am not an expert so others might have a different opinion).

Thanks for sharing,
Will

Very well done. You have the master touch putting such grand pieces together. Enjoyed this one.

Mario,
Peaceful tune. Nice form. I like most of instrument choices except AVP pads? (I think) the aahhs.... It does not sound natural compared to other, more acoustic instruments. Also, in a few places strings start too brutal, I would ride them into the mix a little smoother. Otherwise, mix is very crisp. Those cool K.Hunter instruments sound very good. Fun playing. Crazy things you do with that wind controller. I tried going that route, but found fingering complicated. I hope one day they will make a simple recorder or melodica type instrument for lazy people like me. Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

P.S. Really cool waveform of the tune.

Mario,

Angelic is such a good word to describe the mood and ambiance you’ve created with this lovely tune. Such a sweet production, everything fitting in together so well. Heavenly! No suggestions from me on the mix—sounds spot on to my ears.

Best regards to you and yours,

Deej

Thanx Charlie. I'm not sure about that "master touch" comment but I do try. I like the fact that you can do a lot with BiaB and I try to take it in unexpected directions.

Misha, thanx so much for the comments. I agree about the AVP pads. They are old and I have decided to look into some newer ones. I'll take a look at the string sections.

You can record a recorder or melodica type instrument and convert it into MIDI via any monophonic converter. Melodyne is the best and the monophonic version isn't very expensive, $99 USD:

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Melo5Ess--celemony-melodyne-5-essential

It also comes free with a number of DAWs.

IIRC RealBand can convert it also.

Beautiful melody and chording. The instrumentation is mellow and the arrangement has no distracting elements. The angels are surely dancing this in a heavenly ballroom and divine rays are filling the air.

Nice work mario.
I don't do midi and only occasionally do orchestral parts.
I do watch/listen & learn form this chap though:

I don't take his courses - I just filter through & watch the stuff that I like which seems to relate to your suggestion request...
