Janice & Bud Veteran Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 15,400 GA USA	We both love well done instrumentals of many genres. Even though I do most of our lyric writing Janice is more attentive to lyrics in the music we listen to. Me? I kinda treat a vocal like an instrument and if it is soulful and exhibits interesting phrasing I can easily attend to that more than the lyric. Of course that might be a function of my long since shot ears Having blathered that I do like “connect your own dots” lyrics that give the listener an opportunity to possibly participate.
