je suis sous MacOs Bigsur avec Biab 2020. Je suis guitariste et j'utilise la fenêtre "guitare" + la fenêtre notation en mode piste guitare pour avoir les tablatures.

Il n'y a pas de synchronisation entre la position choisie sur le manche (par exemple position 12) et le rendu dans la fenetre notation (toujours en position 0).

In the main Band-in-a-Box program. Please go to Help | About Band-in-a-Box. Afterwards, near the top of that window, it will have Version 20xx and a number in brackets - what is that number?

Please go to Options | Return to Factory Settings.

If that does not resolve your issue, please close out of Band-in-a-Box (if it was open) and go to Finder | Applications | Band-in-a-Box | Preferences. Duplicate the Preferences folder, and rename the duplicate something else as a backup, like "Preferences_backup". Then go back to the original Preferences folder and try deleting the content of the Preferences folder, but not the folder itself. Then re-launch the program. Please let us know if the problem persists.
Veuillez aller dans Options | Revenez aux paramètres d'usine. Si cela ne résout pas votre problème, fermez Band-in-a-Box (s'il était ouvert) et accédez à Finder | Applications | Band-in-a-Box | Préférences. Dupliquez le dossier Préférences et renommez le doublon en quelque chose d'autre en tant que sauvegarde, comme "Préférences_sauvegarde". Revenez ensuite au dossier Préférences d'origine et essayez de supprimer le contenu du dossier Préférences, mais pas le dossier lui-même. Relancez ensuite le programme. S'il vous plaît laissez-nous savoir si le problème persiste.

le problème persiste. Quelque soit la position choisie dans la fenetre "guitare", les tablatures dans la fenetre "notation" sont toujours en position 0. Je n'avais pas ce problème en BIAB 2018 sous windows

non ce n'est pas un problème sur les mesures mais sur les positions choisies sur le manche. Par exemple pour un morceau en Bb, joué sur la position 10 ( phrygian position) la note G jouée frette 12 sur 3ème corde apparaitra dans la fenetre notation /tab comme jouée frette3 sur 1ère corde. Autrement dit la fenêtre notation ne tient pas compte pour les tablatures de la position choisie dans la fenêtre guitare
no it is not a problem on the measures but on the positions chosen on the neck. For example for a piece in Bb, played on position 10 (phrygian position) the note G played fret 12 on 3rd string will appear in the notation / tab window as played fret3 on 1st string. In other words, the notation window does not take into account the position chosen in the guitar window for tablatures.

D'accord, c'est bien ce qui se passe. Par contre c'est la fenêtre notation avec tab qui ne suit pas ces réglages de la fenêtre guitare. je répète que sous Windows avec BIAB 2018 le fenêtre notation (pour les tabs) suivaient les choix faits dans la fenêtre guitare
Okay, that's what is happening. On the other hand it is the notation window with tab which does not follow these settings of the guitar window. I repeat that under Windows with BIAB 2018 the notation window (for the tabs) followed the choices made in the guitar window

Pourriez vous soumettre aux développeurs de la version MAC ce problème : si la fenêtre notation avec tabs ne se synchronise pas sur la fenêtre guitare concernant les positions, elle perd (pour les tabs) l'essentiel de son intérêt.
Could you submit to the developers of the MAC version this problem: if the notation window with tabs does not synchronize on the guitar window concerning the positions, it loses (for the tabs) most of its interest.

After some testing we noticed that it is not auto position when changing Styles. But it does appear to be changing if we change the key signature

non. Tout va bien dans la fenêtre Guitare : les positions phrygian et aeolien respectent l'armure. Mais les tabs dans la fenêtre notation/tabs restent figées en position 0 et ne respectent pas les positions choisies dans Guitare.

The position set for the Guitar window will not change the notes written in the notation window. Both follow the settings for the key signature of your project. If you change the key signature or other settings, then your tracks will need to be generated again
La position définie pour la fenêtre Guitare ne changera pas les notes écrites dans la fenêtre de notation. Les deux suivent les paramètres de l'armure de votre projet. Si vous modifiez la signature de clé ou d'autres paramètres, vos pistes devront être à nouveau générées

Suite à la dernière réponse, j'ai changé la tonalité du morceau, et régénérer les pistes : les positions proposées dans la fenêtre guitare et les notes sur la portée dans la fenetre notation ont bien été modifiées en conséquence. Mais les tablatures sont toujours en position 0...
