This is dam...whoops, sorry...this is very good.
This sounds like something that Hank Williams would have written and recorded. The recording has that quality too! Great song. I only wish you would have come in with one more round of the chorus before the end.

Hi Ed,
This is definitely a quaint and sweet song that you've posted. Although God's word stands in any era, there's just some songs that take you back to a simpler and kinder time. Your playing and vocals were really good and fit well with the theme of this song. Also, it did sound kind of mono making it sound even more nostalgic. Nice job!

This is so beautiful, Ed! Yes, I agree 100% with everyone who said the word: AUTHENTIC. That's what you and your songs are, no doubt about it. This took me back in time and made me travel in my imagination to just such a beautiful little chapel, where prayers were simple and innocent, just the kind that God is said to love to hear. I like the mix of the song just as it is, don't change a thing, haha. That kind of bass is typical, I personally feel (who am I to comment?) of this kind of church song, so I personally wouldn't change it.
A real treat for a Tuesday morning, here ... you really take us all to church with this one, and a sinner like me - who ain't put his nose through a church door for a while - needed this. Thank you.
