An impassioned vocal as expected Bawb.

Interesting melody...some parts are familiar others not so.

Narrative aside you've an ace chorus melody and the repetitions really work.

The "Oh, I tell you" is far better placed than "Oh, my people!". There's too big a delay between the latter and subsequent line.

The music seems a little tame in comparison...if you mixed you voice to "sit" within the backing a little better I'm sure it'd sound fine. There're a couple of spots where the vocal sounds "off mic" like you've turned to the side or similar. If you throw a strong compressor onto your vocal - something like the free Antress Modern Deathcore, (set at it's heavier presets), you'll be able to even those things.

The intro lead guitar promises some variation and dynamics but, apart from the bombast that continues throughout, there's little light or shade. the strings provided a perfect opportunity to bring things in and out of the mix. Missed though.

I'd enjoy remixing this.

I like the spoken voice at the end.
