I have BIAB 2021, build 842.

Something I have done for years, decades actually, is export a midi file of any song I've done in BIAB so that I can import the tempo changes and markers into Cakewalk (Sonar and iterations before that) before I import any midi or audio tracks I've created in BIAB.

Yesterday, I imported everything from a new song into Cakewalk when I noticed that the tempo changes did not import correctly.
I had a song where, on three occasions, the tempo goes from 100 to 96 for one measure and then back to 100.

When I imported the tempo information from the BIAB-created midi file into Cakewalk, the first 100 to 96 tempo occurred, but then the tempo just stayed at 96 for the rest of the song.

The tempo changes play correctly when playing the song in BIAB.

Two weeks ago, I imported the same types of files into Cakewalk with no problem. The only difference is that those files were created in BIAB Build 838. The Cakewalk build was the same for both songs.

To experiment further, I created some sample BIAB songs with tempo changes using random styles. One was all RealTracks with notation.
One was mixed RealTracks with one midi track and one was all midi tracks.
I then exported each of those songs as a midi file and imported them into Cakewalk all with the same result: The first tempo change is recognized but all subsequent tempo changes don't seem to be in the Biab-created midi file.

It is very frustrating that a method that has been rock solid for me for decades is no longer working in build 842.

Can someone with 2021, build 842 confirm this?

Thanks

John
