There will be when playing When you put the wav in orbit, there will be. But I use other VSTS, which is not the case. My computer is very good and my sound card is OK Only when the band in a box product is used can this kind of noise occur. How to solve it? This kind of crackle appears in different positions each time It has a great impact on work. If I close BIAB VST now, delete it Use other products, such as ujam, nexus, etc. no matter how you use them, there is no burst. When converted to WAV, there is no burst. Is there a solution?
I can't see 32 bits here. Would it be better to become 16 bits? This plug-in does not provide modification. However, I've encountered your sound. It should be caused by too high buffer size adjustment of the sound card, such as 1024
The Daw I use is studio one I found a setting called "dropout protection" my set is Medium
A green Z appears below If I set the minimum, N / A is displayed below Then, I don't understand the following single 32bit and double 64 bit, but the default choice is 64bit Playing this way, my noise and explosion will be reduced, but there are still, but it's better. I don't know the core reason for this problem. Anyway, I export wav with other software and play it in studio one without explosion and noise. If this is the problem of BIAB VST, I hope it can be improved. The following video is an introduction to this function. My English is not good. I can't understand it. I can only see the general meaning. You see, I hope you can understand the reason, or I hope this post can help new friends in the future. I hope someone from the government can talk about how to solve it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ad50IkHTDI
I converted the file to 16bit and the noise is still there. I tried it in Studio One and it's the same as Reaper. There is no noise when it plays back along with the Studio One only noise when it plays in the VST.
When you press play button in Studio One does it play good with no noise ?
There will be noise in all. I think this is a natural defect of band in a box VST And the wav generated by band in a box VST will burst when the Daw is played. However, when you drag and drop into the MP3 player, there is no burst. Maybe their code conflicts with ASIO, or there is a problem with wav. In short, I used to convert all music software into WAV, and there was never a burst. But band in a box VST has a burst. There is a way to alleviate it, that is, changing the buffer to 1024 can alleviate it But it doesn't necessarily come out again. It's very annoying I understand one thing today. I'm a little worried about making band in a box a modern style They should finish the band in a box VST first.
There is a way to alleviate it, that is, changing the buffer to 1024 can alleviate it
Setting the buffer to the highest amount is recommended, as it reduces resource usage on the computer. This is true in any audio software, not just BIAB.
Small buffer settings are only necessary for low latency when recording. When playing back/mixing/etc it's best to set the buffer to the maximum to avoid any pops and clicks - again from any software, not just BIAB.
I just want to know when their band in a box VST plug-in will be upgraded. There will be no popping sound when band in a box VST plug-in is loaded. This is a very serious problem.
I have reported the problem in the testing forum.
Question: do you get the popping sound when you you press Studio One PLAY button OR is it just when you play in the VST ??????
I have confirmed that the problem of popping is the problem of band in a box plugin itself. In order to find out the cause of the burst, I reinstalled the operating system, reinstalled all drivers, and even found a new computer. As a result, as long as band in a box plugin was loaded, there was a burst noise.
My computer is very new. The buffer is set at 64 , 128 and there will be no popping noise My other VSTS, such as ujam, nexus, avenger, Kontakt, ezkey and ezbass, will not have noise. Even if my buffer is set at 32, there will be no noise. However, when I set it to 1024, as long as band in a box plugin is loaded, noise will also appear. But I still think it's my problem, not band in a box plugin. So I left messages to consult other users under Facebook and Youtube Related videos, and the answers I got were noisy. Finally, I came here and got the answer with noise. When all this information comes to you, and your reply is just “not just BIAB.”
I don't think it's appropriate. Please note that setting 1024 is only mitigation, not solution. As long as band in a box VST is loaded, there will be explosive noise during operation. As long as the band in a box VST track is deleted, there will be no explosion and noise immediately. Don't you realize the seriousness of this matter? Even a small music software company just established will not have such a design bug And you've been for decades! I think you should pay attention to it. Hope to upgrade as soon as possible. This is not an excessive requirement. It is the most basic that a product can be used normally. My computer is configured with 8-core CPU, 32g memory and focusrite sound card In my impression, the last time I heard a pop when I played computer music, it should have been 20 years ago I didn't expect this kind of thing to happen in 2021 I can't believe it
I can clearly confirm that it is not the problem of our computer or the setting. It is the problem of band in a box VST itself In other social media, including this forum, some people have been responding to this pop question It hasn't been a few days since band in a box VST came out. Up to today, the problem still exists. So let's not waste time testing.
sbmix tell me if you get pops with following settings. set in win record and playback to 44.1/16.... and same in studio one and same in your usb interface... best om
my songs....mixed for good earbuds...(fyi..my vocs on all songs..) https://soundcloud.com/alfsongs (90 songs created useing bb/rb) (lots of tips of mine in pg tips forum.)
I don't know what you guys are talking about. Just spent 15 minutes trying to generate a pop or rumble or shake and nothing but rock solid. Absolutely no difference in Reaper between playing it in the VST transport versus playing it in Reaper transport.
I understand if we have someone who does not know this software, but Pipeline when did this problem you are reporting start? I can only speak to Reaper so are you saying this is a S1 issue only?
BIAB – 2025, Reaper (current), i7-12700F Processor, 32GB DDR4-3200MHz RAM, Motu Audio Express 6x6 - My SoundCloud (Tip: No need to create a SC account to hear music - just hit ESC ).
44.1 16 The buffer setting is the same These basic questions, I will not make mistakes I've been playing computer music since 2000 My first sound card was RME I won't make mistakes. I have confirmed that it is the problem of band in a box VST
The following is a demonstration. There are only drums. You can hear a lot of popping If you change to another, there will be more popping
Here are 2 videos, the first crackles when playing IN the latest VST by double clicking the chord sheet but not when playing in sync with Reaper, the second one is in an old BiabVST and has NO crackles.

The popping you're hearing is nothing to do with your computer, performance, buffer, or anything else of that sort. I tried that same style on my computer and found that it popped as well. The problem is coming from the time-stretching plugin that Band-in-a-Box uses to change pitch and tempo - that particular drum loop is 90bpm, while the style you're using is playing it at 100bpm. The click is happening right at the beginning of the loop, and repeats every 2 bars as it's a 2-bar loop.
If you change the tempo to 90bpm you'll find that the popping stops. I will report the issue to the development team to see what they can do - the time-stretching comes from the Elastique plugin, which we did not create.

This is coming from a completely different place than what swingbabymix is experiencing. Please set Reaper to use 44.1khz and see if it still crackles.

What he said. I'm running this on a decade-old not high-end computer and I have zero issues with the plugin in any DAW (of which I have many of them). Pipeline's issue must be specific to his computer, software, or audio hardware as this is not an issue I've ever seen or experienced.

thank you.
However, I just looked at the original BPM of this style, and I marked 100bpm here Why is 90bpm in your place?
I think BB VST itself needs to be improved. I believe that with your efforts, BIAB VST will be better and better.
However, I just looked at the original BPM of this style, and I marked 100bpm here Why is 90bpm in your place?
The style is playing at 100bpm. The loop is a 90bpm loop. You can see this in the file name of the loop itself in my screenshot below.
In most cases, BIAB has no trouble playing things at different BPM - that's literally how BIAB operates with almost any sound you hear. This particular drum loop for some reason clicks when it's played at 100bpm - funny enough I tried it at 120bpm and the click disappears.
I tried 120, but there was still a strange popping But this song is only 100bpm, which is good to listen to. In addition, when we use it, we can't try all kinds of BPM to avoid popping I like this BB VST very much, but there are too many small problems.
Almost every time you open it, you will find new problems. I've been tossing around for days and haven't finished any songs
