A Weird Obscure Idea ? If you could not get it to work with the C... or C.. in the UserTemplate SGU then maybe add it in F5 UserTrack setting ? Fit to Screen
In my mind there is no need to add lines to the UserTrack Development screen.
My idea is UserTracks should follow the same one dot, two dots and three dots chord sheet cues that RealTracks follow.
One question the idea above brings up is where should holds and shots be stored? My response is inside the UserTracks folder. Create a UserTrack sub folder labeled "Shots" and a second labeled "Holds".
The user creates a sgu/wav for holds and a sgu/wav for shots. The PlugIn, RealBand and Band-in-a-Box would need to understand UserTracks shots and holds are stored inside the UserTracks folder.
I created a mock up below to illustrate my idea.
This idea above is the only way UserTracks shots and holds makes sense to me. I'm not sure the F5 Window can be accessed in the PlugIn and RealBand.
Either way should work as Biab should read the sub folder for SGU's this way if the user wants to add the shots n holds to the end of one of their templates they can, like they may have all the shots n holds for the chords used in a particular SGU at the end of that SGU, they will be played at the same tempo and strength to fit in better with what has just been recorded in previous bars rather than starting a new recording. A fast hold and slow hold can be recorded same as you can have different endings, or as Icelander ask up strums. Being able to regen any section of the UT will help also. The original shots n holds template they had just used .. and ... maybe that caused issues and that's why they couldn't get them to work ?? Setting them in the F5 should work rather than typing the dots in the chord sheet of the SGU template. Anyway they do it, we just NEED them shots n holds.
