Cinematic Rock - By Robert Stanley Bpm (110) Key (f) Tense cinematic rock, with a hint of melancholy depression Hi all. Although this song has a sprinkling of lyrics, I prefer to see it as more of an instrumental. I guess you can make up your own mind. The theme is loosely based around Covid. The whole song revolves around a repeating guitar chord progression Dm-Am-F As always all comments are welcome. If you feel I'm heading in the wrong direction with my songwriting please let me know. Robert, Very cool offbeat tune. Right away it reminded me of a band Lemon Jelly, particularly tune "All The Ducks Are Swimming In The Water". Actually I like the drive of your tune better. "If you feel I'm heading in the wrong direction with my songwriting please let me know." I think reverse of that to that. My opinion, experimenting and trying to think differently musically is everything what music is about. Liked it. Thank you for sharing.

Robert, you've been stretching and reaching - it's paying off. This is fabulous. The choice of sounds is perfect...I love the organ beeps. the guitar figure loop is a little obvious at the beginning as the volume drops a little toward the each of the loop but that's cool n "grainy" in its own way. The feedback like note at the end was perfect too. ACE...MORE!

Liked it a lot. I think you're on to something. The more you add in your voice, the better. Too good of a voice to waste.

crikey...gday mate. this is very different...in a good way. v interesting song concept. i hear background screams occasionally repeating the lyrics. and at song end maybe a scream.. eg 'BREAK THAT WINDOW ' at song end. or 'I WANT TO BREAK THAT WINDOWE' kinda idea. only thing i might suggest is dialing back a bit the vocal fx. cool effort/song/inventive. best om

Rob
My wife just walked past and asked if that song was on the forum. She said she really liked it and it's still in her head.
I agree quite an interesting and accomplished song that does get inside your head.
Enjoyed it.

Cool, hypnotic sound. Excellent take on the stay-at-home, shelter-in-place moment in history. Really interesting videos that help support the idea. I like how you developed the tune, and it's a highly polished mix. Very creative, Bob.

Powerful song Rob!!! The repetitive guitar sequence with the trippy background and spoken word is very powerful!! The production is excellent too!! Take care. Greg

"If you feel I'm heading in the wrong direction with my songwriting please let me know."
You are heading in the right direction and that is pushing BiaB beyond its "normal" range, i.e. thinking out of the box. I love that!
This is a splendid piece of music. It shows what BiaB and a lot of creativity can do. You have master that for sure.
I really like this one.
Two thumbs up.

Great experimentation, refreshing to hear your new direction, so many clever ways to use BIAB. Spooky rhythm created with those effects and loops, vocals effects sound especially interesting. Very interesting lunatic lyrical landscape.
