Hi

I don't think you would have any trouble running off the MacBB hard drive, plugging into different Macs.

The only thing I'm aware of that would need installing on each Mac would be the PG Fonts (for notation and such).

It is also possible to install MacBB on your internal hard drive, run MacBB, open the RealDrum and RealTracks preferences dialogs, and tell MacBB to look for the RealTracks and RealDrums folders at another location. So you could run MacBB (which doesn't take a lot of space to install) from your internal drive, but use the RealTracks (which do take a lot of space) from the external drive.

This could have advantages especially if some of your preferences are different on the two Macs. Maybe the Macs would have different MIDI setup assignments or different preferred main window size or colors or whatever. Since those prefs are saved in a Preferences folder in the Band-in-a-Box folder, if you had just the minimal program installed on both Macs, it would allow each Mac to remember its own preferences, but read the RealFiles from the external drive.
