I have a feeling this may be asking too much, because it would mean a fundamental change to chord notation, but...

Currently when entering 3/4 time, as I've been told, you enter the first two beats separated by a comma in the first half of the bar, and the third beat at the start of the second half of the bar. The space after a comma in the second half of the bar is ignored (because of course this would be the fourth beat).

Would there be any way of the chord notation being modified to restructure for 3/4, so it showed three beats, with the option of splitting each into half beats? At the moment I don't think this is possible.
