'I'm in it for the rock and roll.' Oh, yeah. Love it, Marty.
Regards,
Leon
Haha. Thanks, Leon --so glad it was more than just a minute.
Catchy old style rock'n'roll. Smiling meta lyrics, clever title

You have clearly found the songwriting horn of plenty and the Midas Touch of creativity.
Lovely arrangement, like the introduction of the MIDI piano. The clarinet solo is excellent, I wish that some day we have also slow and even clarinet solos in BIAB.
Your singing sounds very relaxed and happy.
Janne
Thanks, Janne. Love that "songwriting horn of plenty and the Midas Touch of creativity." I, too, am a clarinet fan, and second your suggestion for slow and even solos.
Hi Marty
Wow, this is really hep cat!
You knocked it out of the park with the feel you were going for! When you sing the chorus, ("I'm in it for the minute") it's just like Bill Haley is singing into that Electro Voice microphone with you. And that big band sound you got happening would even make Brian Setzer start to wonder if you stole his orchestra! The amusing lyrics also make for a fun listen. But my question is, Where do I sing up to learn these 3 chords you're talking about? And if you run out of pink Cadillacs, I'd settle for and old brown Rambler... HA!
Thanks, Bawb!! I remember seeing Bill Haley and HIS comets once and they had no bass player. Can you imagine? The guitar player played some of the bass parts here and there. And I believe he DID have an Electrovoice 667 --the old style. Haha. The first car I had to drive was my mom's 1959 Nash-Rambler station wagon with push-button drive. It was green.
Marty
Not sure how I almost missed this.
Brilliant! Great video, and a happy catchy piece of Rock n Roll.
Deserves all the accolades.
Loved it.
Peter
Thanks, Peter. Always glad to have you join the party.
