I created a melody for my song in BB and then imported it to RealBand. During the audition of the song there were three odd sounding bars. When I examined the midi I was surprised to see that an extra long note had been introduced in parallel to 'wanted' notes in that bar. This was in a verse that I had copied in BB. There was one other bar where a shorter note had been added to the 'wanted note'. I suspected that I had introduced the problem when working with the note editor in BB, so I went back to look at it in BB, but all was as it should be. I did the same in RB and this was all OK also.
It was easy enough to simply remove the unwanted notes but I just wondered if anybody else had come across this behaviour?

Hi Jonel, what version of Band-in-a-Box are you using and which build? You can check the build by going to o to Help | About Band-in-a-Box. Afterwards, near the top of that window, it will have Version 20xx and a number in brackets. That number is your build number. The RealBand build number can also be found under Help | About RealBand and is also a number in brackets in the new window.
Are you opening the MGU/SGU file in RealBand, or are you exporting the individual tracks to a MIDI file?

This 'anomaly' only occurs in 3 measures of the 104 measure song. It's a good idea to stay up-to-date on both Band-in-a-Box and Realband. It looks like you have the latest for RealBand, which is great! Here is the newest patch for Band-in-a-Box: https://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htm#844Would you be able to send in the file to use with the tracks frozen at support@pgmusic.com and we can have someone take a look? You can either include a link to this forum thread in the e-mail or include a brief description of the issue with the file so that we have context for the e-mail. Once we have the file it will probably be fairly easy to tell what's happening.
