The quick and dirty option is to plug the output of your soundcard to the input, then record. It's certainly low-tech, but might get the job done quicker than installing another program! If you try this be sure that your speaker and/or headphone volumes are very low. If you get a feedback loop it will be a squeal and if your volume(s) are high you could cause damage to your speaker or more important to your ears.
