There exist Real Tracks like bb\RealTracks\Guitar, Acoustic, Rhythm BluesSw16GrooveBrent Sw16 085 I want to use BIAB acoustic guitar only with my chord progression and my vocal. The .wav will load in BIAB but entering chords has no effect.
Is there a way to use only this RT and change the chord progression?

“Amazing! I’ll be working with Jaco Pastorius, Charlie Parker, Art Tatum, and Buddy Rich, and you’re telling me it’s not that great of a gig? “Well…” Saint Peter, hesitated, “God’s got this girlfriend who thinks she can sing…”
That sounds like an unusual question. You can use that RT with any chord progression. So I set up a quick example to demonstrate this for you and BIAB was dead silent! RTFS was no fix. So I will now reboot. This happens way too much for me...
Hi Dan, Thanks, I am in the middle of a Dobro VST download from hell that I paid $100 bucks for that will work with Kontact 6 I hope. Little distracted at the moment.
1. Enter your account e-mail address and full serial (included in your serial e-mail) and select “Get Links”.
2. Download all listed .rar files.
3. If you do not have an unarchiver utility, please download and install the included unarchiver located at the bottom of this page.
4. Select and open the first .rar file, this will typically be named .Part1. This will start the unarchiving process.
5. Once completed please make sure to unarchive the .rar Instrument archive that comes separately with each instrument. This file will NOT have a "Part" in the file name.
6. Once done, add the included contents of the unarchived Instrument folder to the main unarchived content. If a folder already exists in this location, please combine the contents of the folder. (Do not overwrite any pre existing folder)
7. Relocate the final folder to your desired directory and enjoy.
There are like 10 parts downloaded into separate folders...what a PITA!

OK, reboot and all is back to working. I was able to load that specific RT and it does play over any chord progression. That is what real tracks do. I don't know why you would load a .wav file of that real track. That obviously will not adjust to different chords.

OK I guess I don't remember how to load a specific RT only. Sorry, in overload at the moment. I am trying to do too many things at one time. I will go figure it out.
I have the dobro vst loaded in Kontact but have not produced sound yet.
These are two separate issues.
All this electronic stuff is really not fun at all.
Back to a live studio as soon as the XXXX pandemic permits.
Thanks, Dan

I totally get how someone gets used to creating songs a certain way and forgets Biab's basic functions. All you do is set up a new song, set the tempo and key sig then enter whatever chords you want. Now, pick the guitar track and select that RT. It will play your chords.
There are other things going on also...like not being able to eat solid food for over a month...lol

Just has Bob indicated. R-click on the Guitar track in the Mixer and you get a menu to "Select RealTrack", then Select "Select RealTrack" again (typical BIAB), this will take you to the Real Track Picker. Once you are there Paste "BluesSw16GrooveBrent" into the Filter on the Bottom and that RT will be found.
Again as Bob said, select Tempo and Key and enter you Chords when you are now back in BIAB. That will do it for you.
Finally, Select real tracks, Select real tracks, really...lol
Got exactly what I wanted but of course, that locked up BIAB...lol Control alt del, start again, and finally...Success
Thanks, guys.
After all the Kontact insanity I won't beat up BIAB too much for being an arcane non-user-friendly piece of software...lol
Now I will go put it in my DAW before it vaporizes...lol
