Hello everyone. This song is a joint project with my friend Halya from Ukraine. The song is about the sad everyday life of most people. And about the fact that everyone wishes for happiness but does not realize it. Because happiness is not something you can own. You have to recognize it and feel it. Listen to HAPPINESS The song is played entirely by BiaB 2021. Only the vocals have been additionally recorded. The english is definitely not the best, but it is much easier to write a usable song in english than in german ;-) We hope you like the song. I really enjoyed the snappy 90s "Roxette" feel and the liquid-y, accented (to an American) vocals. I did find the chorus less satisfying, reaching out in a different direction with less success.
But everything comes together with "let's go!" =8^)

I save the individual tracks from Biab into my TASCAM DP-32SD and mix it together with my vocals and possibly other instruments. Then I have it mastered at LANDR.com. Viele Grüße Andi ;-)

Dear Mr. Melzner... Starting off a song with such a rockin' beat made it absolutely irresistible to my ears  . Also, I like the way the lyrics struck a balance between the optimistic expectation of being happy with the more realistic consideration of how we could achieve that desirable state of existence. The entire production is excellent.
Great write, vocal performance, arrangement and mix.
Outstanding use of RTs and RD.
We are big fans of open/airy mixes with lots of dynamics and this is a great example. Every track has its place on the soundstage.

I think it is really nice that you can understand the meaning of the text so well
I don't have anyone to check my texts
i write them with a dictionary and have them checked with the online translator ;-)
but I can imagine that you as a native speaker will find some passages unfamiliar
maybe sometimes the meaning of the text is completely lost
but i have to say that i can't write song lyrics in my german native language at all....
so I prefer to stay with this method
