I'm experiencing an interesting way to route biab into apple's mainstage on these days. I downloaded "soundflower" and now i'm able to control volume and eq of biab within mainstage and, of course, to play some virtual instruments along.
This looks better than mixing biab tracks and importing them in mainstage for some reasons: i.e. the tune can be instantly modified.
Anyone did this try before? I want to test it more and more for seeing if any trouble occurs.

Um, why? Mainstage just messes with sound. You couldn't import tracks into it, all it does is record stuff. So, you could mess with the volume coming from Band in a Box.....then what? Wouldn't that be the same as exporting the AIFF or M4A and messing with it? Does BinaB support Soundflowers multichannel output rather than the 2 channel stereo?
I don't see the point.....I think it would be faster and easier just to load up Logic, and put BinaB into DAW mode and drag the AIFFs or M4As into Logic and mix there........

Looks like going all ok, indeed. At the beginning the mac direct output SEEMED to sound better than the soundflower one, but it was just because i had the audio channel in mainstage set to mono...  I've also seen if the apogee duet could do the trick instead of soundflower but maybe not, or am not able to  It doesn't even require jumping between the apps, because you can control binab levels with a midi controller, like all other stuff in mainstage. Very good!
