In studio one, sometimes BIAB VST will crash. Crashes occur at startup. The details are as follows: For example, in order to speed up, I will disable BIAB VST after generating wav. When I enable the BIAB VST track again, it sometimes crashes, and then studio one restarts. This problem sometimes doesn't happen, sometimes it does. I don't know if you have met? After disabling the BIAB VST track and then enabling the BIAB VST track, it will crash occasionally.
swingbabymix I am interested in your workflow. Why do you disable the VSTi?
I ask as I just mute the VSTi when, on rare occasions, I have it running along with Studio One Pro 5. And to be honest I have never used the disable and enable track functions thus I would be interested if you use it on different tracks also.
Thanx in advance for your time.
OK, a random thought; Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

Because I want to open two BIAB VSTS, which can easily generate wavs of different styles When I open two at the same time, it will collapse. So disabling will make the crash situation better, but sometimes it will crash.

I can verify this. On one occasion when mine crashed I had to reboot the computer.
This isn't a big problem for me as I transfer the tracks to Studio One Pro 5 then delete the BiaB plug-in. Now I can open a new BiaB VST. BUT I can see a couple of advantages of doing it SBMix's way. If this can get fixed this is the way I would work in the future.

I believe I read someplace the plugin is designed for only one instance at a time to be open. The choke point is a background utility program that silently communicate with the main Band-in-a-Box program.
My question is with all the possible tracks that can be used in the plugin, why do you need multiple instances open at the same time?

Because we open more than one BIAB VST, we can load a style of the same type In this way, different wavs can be generated to change the main song and chorus of the music. I even want to open three BIAB VSTS at the same time, select the style I think is similar, and then click to generate different wavs

Ha ha, you already know what I mean. Although we are thousands of miles apart, there is communication in our hearts.
Use Element just drag n drop the BBvst2 BBvst3 into Element, use the Element Instrument and BBvst instrument if you want to send midi. If you want it for different sections set the sync of each vst to start on the bar you want, remove count-in and ending if need be. NOTE I don't know if they have fixed the issue where bbw4 is cutting the tracks too short when no ending is set ???????? If not you won't have a seamless transition between bars. *enable EXT top left to sync.
thank you. The generated wav will have channel problems, and mono becomes dual. I think it's a little simple, and the problem gets complicated. In fact, loading multiple BB VSTS should not cause a crash. Should the official fix it?
Once you have it set up with any many BiabVST as you like you then save the graph in Element.
There is a BUG that have not still fixed, when no Ending is selected it won't cut clean so there is a gap at last bar. I have reported this many times !! You need to add extra bar then trim to get seamless playback.
