This was inspired by an artist that goes by “The Acid Jazz Guitarist”. I got a dance beat going and then jammed some Black Sabbath-ese licks over it. It was my attempt at acid jazz. I like how it turned out, but The Acid Jazz Guitarist is much more talented than me. You should check him out on SoundCloud.

I programmed in a standard 12-bar blues chord progression to create a backing track and then recorded the guitars over it. I recorded 3 different guitar solos, and mixed different portions of those lead guitars. I used a combination of Reaper & Audacity for the recording & mixing.


I'm a songwriter/guitarist, and sometimes vocalist. I write in many different genres. I use BIAB to help with writing, arranging, and recording songs and as a learning tool.
