Hi all.
As some of you already know I've turned my songwriting 360 deg.
I've started to look at BB through different eyes and seeing BB
as a massive sample library.
I start off using a loop from another source and then using the BB plugin within my DAW
(studio one) I have been able to come up with some new and fresh ideas.
Change the way you view band in a box and see what you can come up with.

Thousands of hours of studio quality audio recordings of thousands of instruments. Yep, that should keep you productive for some time.
A hint for auditioning for new clips is listen to the PG Music demos on YouTube. It's pretty fast and the Style names are provided.

I use the BIAB samples in Finale and Digital Performer now and then. Surprised me that I could since many other proprietary libraries can be used only in their apps. Anyway, the BIAB samples load into the free ARIA player just fine. I am not positive that this is the latest since the one that installs with Finale 27 does not show a version number in Get Info. I think two topics are being discussed here at once but that is cool.
On the Band-in-a-Box samples per se, I have found some of them to be quite nice, and I use them all the time in either Sforzando or Aria to sketch things out. They are surprisingly good as freebies.
With regard to the real tracks, I don't think any composer in his or her right mind could not see the potential there and also not be flabbergasted. It is mind-boggling.
