MarioD Veteran Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 24,330 Hamlin NY	When we had to audition bass players for my wedding band (it's always the bass player ) I would say "Sounds good. We have a number of auditions to go so if we select you we will give you a call." If they called back we would say "Sorry, we found someone who was a better fit". FYI - In my last band's 17+ years we had the same ballad singer rhythm guitarist, a keyboard and lead guitarist (both singers). We went through 4 drummers and I lost count on the number of bass players. I think my wife has started to show the first signs of dementia. She said she can't remember what she ever saw in me! 64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
