BIAB for Windows v 2021 (838); Windows 10.
I usually save songs as WAV files (Stereo, 24bit PCXM, 44.1kHz), then import them into my DAW (Acoustica Mixcraft). To make sure every track is starting at 0:00.000 I drag each track to the far left. Lately the tracks have been "out of sync". Quite often one track from BIAB will be substantially longer than the others. What I mean is, there is a large amount of silence at the start of one track and that one track then is longer than the others (it's end time is way past the other track's end time); so it's as if BIAB has added a few bars of silence to the start of just one track.
The above happens even though the tracks were 'saved as wav' using the "one file per track" option. Filesize is always the same for each track, even the longer one.
I went back to basics and unticked every option on the 'save as wav' dialog, apart from the 'one file per track' and initially that didn't work. I then lowered the options for Channels, Bit depth and sample rate, which seemed to work. I've now raised those options to Stereo, 24bit PCXM, 44.1kHz and all seems well, but it's a pain in the neck to keep fiddling with.
Has anyone got any ideas of what could cause this?
