Hi Jonel,
1: It is not possible to copy part of a track, however it is very easy to edit the Soloist track after copying the track - simply use the Piano Roll to select the notes you don't want and delete them.
2: To transpose the soloist track, go to the Soloist menu and choose Edit Soloist Track > Transpose > Transpose Soloist Part.
